Established in August 2020, KRUNK KULTURE is a record label from the future by KRUNK. Kioku by Synths Back is our next EP on Krunk Kulture.

'Kioku' is a three-track EP in collaboration with Bangalore based producer, Synths Back & Mumbai based singer, Ruhika. The EP was composed in collaboration over numerous zoom calls in the summer of 2020. This is a reflection of their emotions and experiences from a time laden with uncertainty and anguish and the hopes and dreams for better days.

An Ode to the Synthesiser, This DJ / Producer is bringing Back the ‘80s Sounds, Abhishek Chanda, popularly known as Synths Back gets his alias from his obsession with the synthesiser. For a boy who grew up on the islands of Andaman and Nicobar, his exploration for jazz, funk and soul brought him to the mainland. After it dawned on him that his sounds would be a unification of retro synth and futuristic house and afro grooves, he then went on to create his single ‘Luna' in 2018 followed by few remixes.

Having been a professional music tutor the past three years, he has consciously made an effort to expand the music community in the city by offering his skill sets as a teacher to upcoming and aspiring DJs & Producers saying that he wants the "new generation to absorb the culture and aesthetics of his sound".
